Willem Vinke
Portfolio Manager
Willem is the CEO and CIO of Lofoten Asset Management and the Investment Adviser to the Strategic Global Quality Fund.
Willem is fluent in five languages and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester, a MA in European Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. In addition Willem has successfully completed the CFA program.
He has been involved in the management of equity funds since 1995 and has been in the financial industry since 1992. Prior to establishing Lofoten Asset Management Willem held the following senior positions:
Parcom Capital (a subsidiary of ING) from 2008 to 2009 – Investment Partner.
JO Hambro Capital Management from 2002 to 2008 – Portfolio Manager of the JO Hambro European Select Values Fund and the JO Hambro Continental Select Values Fund.
Morgan Stanley from 1992 to 2002 – Responsible for EAFE/European small cap and European large cap products.
