Investment Team - Lofoten Asset Management

Willem Vinke

Portfolio Manager

Willem is the CEO and CIO of Lofoten Asset Management, the Investment Adviser to the Strategic Europe Quality Fund and Strategic Global Quality Fund, with Willem acting as the Portfolio Manager.

Willem is fluent in five languages and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester, a MA in European Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. In addition Willem has successfully completed the CFA program.

He has been involved in the management of equity funds since 1995 and has been in the financial industry since 1992. Prior to establishing Lofoten Asset Management Willem held the following senior positions:

Parcom Capital (a subsidiary of ING) from 2008 to 2009 – Investment Partner.

JO Hambro Capital Management from 2002 to 2008 – Portfolio Manager of the JO Hambro European Select Values Fund and the JO Hambro Continental Select Values Fund.

Morgan Stanley from 1992 to 2002 – Responsible for EAFE/European small cap and European large cap products.

Christian De Roualle

INVESTMENT ANALYST

Christian joined Lofoten Asset Management in 2017 as an equity analyst. He has ten years’ experience as a sell-side analyst covering consumer stocks at Redburn. This followed two years as Financial Controller at Moët Hennessy Europe. Christian obtained a Masters in Management from EDHEC Business School (Grande Ecole).

Laura Campbell

PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Laura has been the Product Specialist for Lofoten Asset Management since November 2015. Laura has five years’ experience in the financial industry, including two years at Tiburon Partners LLP, London. Laura obtained a BA (Hons) in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Northumbria and holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management from Newcastle University.

Rosie Bichard

SENIOR EQUITY ANALYST

Rosie joined Lofoten in January 2018 as a Senior Equity Analyst, to focus on the global strategy. She has some 25 years’ experience in institutional fund management, having worked most recently at Newton Investment Management between 2005-2017 as a Global Consumer Analyst. Prior to that she spent 15 years at Deutsche Bank in a variety of analytical roles as well as both a UK and Emerging markets fund manager. She is a CFA charter holder with a degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from St John’s College, Cambridge and has completed executive education programmes at London Business School and Harvard Business School.
